Pentastérile

Le pentastarch est un sous-groupe de stéarate hydroxyéthylé avec cinq groupes hydroxyéthylés sur onze groupes hydroxyles, lui conférant environ 50 % d'hydroxyéthylations. Cela se compare au tetrastarch à 40 % et au hetastarch à 70 % d'hydroxyéthylations respectivement.
