For instance, methanol extracts from Ruta chalepensis demonstrated selective cytotoxic activity against certain cancer cells but showed low hemolytic activity and minimal toxicity in cell cultures. Similarly, Justicia spicigera's methanol extract exhibited significant lymphoma cell growth inhibition with a favorable selectivity index. However, these findings are not directly applicable to Pseudognaphalium obtusifolium due to the lack of specific research on this species. No major safety concerns or drug interactions have been reported for Pseudognaphalium obtusifolium thus far.
